Royal Air Maroc and Malaysia Airlines sign codeshare agreement
Royal Air Maroc and Malaysia Airlines recently signed a codeshare agreement, allowing their passengers to enjoy improved connections from Kuala Lumpur and Casablanca.
The agreement, announced a few days ago, is designed to simplify connections between Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia for customers of both Oneworld alliance members.
Through this partnership, RAM can place its AT code on flights operated by Malaysia Airlines between Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Paris, and London. For its part, the Malaysian national carrier can now offer its customers the same destinations – under the MH code – operated by Royal Air Maroc to and from Casablanca-Mohammed V.
Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, stated: “This agreement marks the beginning of a new chapter in cooperation not only between RAM and Malaysia Airlines, but also between our two countries, which share deep cultural roots through economic and historical ties.”
Izham Ismail, CEO of the Malaysian airline, added: “Our airline welcomes this partnership with Royal Air Maroc, which provides our customers with new travel opportunities and underscores our commitment to strengthening air connectivity in the North African region.”
