Royal Air Maroc operates historic flight between Dakhla and Los Angeles

Last Friday, a Royal Air Maroc flight from Dakhla landed in Los Angeles carrying the production crew of the Hollywood film The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan. This was a first in the history of African air travel.

The film was shot in Dakhla, a symbol of the Moroccan Sahara. For Nolan, this flight was a new opportunity to appreciate the exceptional charm of this city, admiring it from the sky.

This represents a further step forward in RAM’s ability to adapt to the diverse logistical requirements of film productions, even in Hollywood.

It is important to note that this flight from Dakhla to Los Angeles is a first for Royal Air Maroc. There are currently no direct connections between these two destinations. In the United States, the company serves four major cities: Miami, Washington, New York and Boston, and also offers other seasonal and regular connections to other destinations in North America, taking advantage of its partnership with JetBlue.
