Royal Air Maroc announces several new routes to Spain

Royal Air Maroc has announced its intention to inaugurate several new routes to Spain as part of a sustained growth strategy in the Iberian Peninsula.

The national carrier will gradually launch flights to five Spanish destinations this year: Bilbao and Alicante from Casablanca-Mohamed V Airport, Barcelona, Madrid, and Malaga from Tetouan and Tangier.

El Prat Airport, serving the Catalan capital, will also be connected to Nador with two weekly flights.

All these new routes were announced in the presence of Karima Benyaich, Morocco’s Ambassador to Spain, who stated: “Royal Air Maroc is preparing for a big year. We have a full schedule of flights to major Spanish destinations.”

K. Benyaich also stressed that the opening of these connections will strengthen its offerings dedicated to Moroccan members residing in Spain – representing the largest foreign community in terms of numbers – returning to their country during the summer holidays and the end-of-year holidays.
