Royal Air Maroc launches Casablanca-Alicante flight

Royal Air Maroc is expanding its summer schedule with a new international route. The national carrier has been operating a flight between Casablanca and Alicante, Spain, since the beginning of this month.

Elche Miguel Hernández (ALC), the main airport of the famous Spanish coastal city, is connected to Casablanca-Mohamed International Airport three times a week, on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

This new Casablanca-Alicante route is not just a new service, but part of a broader plan: to strengthen its Casablanca-Mohamed V hub in preparation for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, several matches of which will be held in seven Moroccan cities, including Casablanca.

Enhanced connectivity between Morocco and Spain

Royal Air Maroc is celebrating its fifth anniversary in Spanish skies this year. Its new flights between Casablanca and Alicante will expand its summer offering, which also includes services between its seven main hubs in Morocco and nine flagship destinations in the Iberian Peninsula, namely: Alicante, Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, Las Palmas, Madrid, Málaga, Seville, Tenerife and Valencia.
