Royal Air Maroc: In A330 on Casablanca-Paris

Royal Air Maroc, the Moroccan national company, announced the rental of an Airbus A330 to Air Belgium to increase the number of its frequencies between Casablanca and Paris. This operation should enable RAM to meet the growing demand on these lines and to offer better comfort and better services to its passengers.

A daily frequency will therefore be added to the program of the Maghreb company on its route connecting its Casablanca-Mohamed V hub to Paris-CDG, between June 14 and September 3, 2023. The flight departure is scheduled for 2:40 a.m. (arrival at 6:45 a.m. ). The return flight leaves France at 8:25 a.m. (arrival at 10:35 a.m.).

The leased A330, which previously operated for Air Belgium, has a two-class configuration, with 22 extended seats in business class and 240 seats in economy class. The aircraft will complement RAM’s Boeing 767 on both routes, providing passengers with a superior flight experience.

The A330 is known for its spacious cabin, comfortable seats and state-of-the-art entertainment system. The aircraft is equipped with large overhead lockers, individual air vents and mood lighting that creates a soothing atmosphere in the cabin. Business Class passengers enjoy fully flat seats, ample legroom and a range of amenities including noise canceling headphones, personal TV screen and gourmet dining.

This aircraft is also more fuel efficient than the Boeing 767, which will help reduce operating costs and improve environmental sustainability. In addition, the lease agreement will allow RAM to adjust its capacity according to the evolution of demand on the routes.

This decision is expected to strengthen RAM’s position as a leading player in the African aviation market. The airline has experienced steady growth in recent years, thanks to the importance it places on the quality of its services, the extent of its network and the modernity of its fleet. Additionally, the kingdom’s air carrier has invested in new digital technologies and platforms to improve customer engagement and streamline operations.
