Royal Air Maroc and a Chinese airline reopen their services between Morocco and China

The air link between Morocco and China has just been reestablished. Since January 19, two airlines have been operating on this route. They are:

Royal Air Maroc: with its AT230 flight which connects Beijing-Daxing three times a week by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Shanghai Airlines: Its FM871 flight which connects Shanghai to Casablanca with a stopover in Marseille-Provence is now scheduled three times a week,

During the last year, Morocco welcomed 100,000 visitors from China.

According to Abderrafie Zouiten, Director General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), “the new connection inaugurated by RAM constitutes one of the first plans of a strategy specific to the Chinese market that we have implemented and which benefits from the support of the highest authorities in the country”.

In return, with these two new services announced by RAM and Shanghai Airlines, traveling to China becomes even easier for Moroccans who can opt for new business opportunities in the vast East Asian country.
