Royal Air Maroc announces acquisition of two new aircraft
Royal Air Maroc has leased four new A320 aircraft. According to the Moroccan newspaper Le360, these planes which joined the RAM fleet in mid-December, were leased from Express Malta and Heston Airlines, two specialized operators, under a leasing agreement.
These new aircraft were acquired to bolster RAM’s fleet, given the increase in traffic during this period coinciding with the end-of-year holidays and the Africa Cup of Nations, which is being held in Morocco from December 21 to January 18, 2026.
According to the same source, RAM is using these new aircraft to operate flights between Casablanca-Mohammed V Airport and several destinations in France, as well as scheduled flights between Marrakech and several destinations in France and Belgium.
Currently, Royal Air Maroc operates a fleet of sixty aircraft including airliners (Embraer 190, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737 MAX 8, 787-9 Dreamliner, 787-800 Dreamliner, ATR72-600) and cargo aircraft such as the Boeing 767-300.
