EasyJet launches regular flight between Lyon and Tangier

Low-cost airline easyJet launched its first service to Tangier from Lyon on October 25th.

This flight now operates twice a week, departing every Saturday and Tuesday. The service is offered with an A319 aircraft, departing Lyon-Saint-Exupéry at 10:35 AM. The return flight departs from Tangier’s Ibn Batouta Airport at 8:35 PM.

For the launch of this new international route, easyJet is offering one-way tickets starting at €45.

Another new easyJet route to Tangier is expected next year, operating year-round from Geneva starting March 30th.

EasyJet is expanding its services in Morocco

In 2026, the UK-based low-cost carrier plans to open a permanent base at Marrakech-Menara Airport, its first in Morocco and on the African continent.

At this hub, easyJet plans to deploy three aircraft enabling it to offer regular services to four major European destinations:

– Hamburg: from May 1st

– Lille-Lesquin: from May 3rd

– Strasbourg-Entzheim: from May 3rd
