Air Transat announces direct flight to Agadir
Air Transat is strengthening its flights to Morocco. The Canadian airline has announced the opening of a new route from Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau to a new destination in the North African country.
Air Transat, which was ranked Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025, will inaugurate a transatlantic flight to Agadir-Al Massira on June 12, 2026. This long-haul flight will operate weekly, every Friday, aboard a 199-seat A321LR.
The new service is aimed at a large Canadian clientele and the Moroccan community, which numbers over 100,000 members residing in Montreal.
On the occasion of the opening of this international route, Annick Guérard, CEO of Air Transat, stated: “Our goal is to offer our customers an ever-increasing choice of destinations and, consequently, to continue expanding our network outside of Canada.” Flights to Agadir allow us to meet the growing demand for travel to Morocco.
It should be noted that Agadir is Air Transat’s second new destination in Morocco, after Marrakech-Menara, which is served from Montreal with two flights per week.
