Royal Air Maroc is recruiting experienced pilots

Royal Air Maroc is primarily seeking new pilots with experience and qualifications to fly Boeing 737, Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and Embraer E170/E190 aircraft.
The Kingdom’s airline has launched a major international recruitment campaign, this time targeting crews already operational. It is looking for captains and first officers capable of immediately taking the controls of its aircraft, without undergoing a lengthy initial training period.
Three aircraft families involved
The recruitment drive simultaneously targets three types of aircraft operated by the airline: the Boeing 737 NG and MAX, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and the Embraer E170 and E190. However, the requirements differ depending on the aircraft: RAM is seeking captains and first officers for the 737 and E190, while the 787 recruitment is currently focused solely on first officer positions.
Royal Air Maroc Collaborates with Flight Crew International
Unlike direct recruitment, RAM’s new campaign uses a specialized intermediary. The job positions are offered by the British firm Flight Crew International (FCI), a recognized recruitment agency in the aviation sector. The offer is published on the FlightGlobal platform and is explicitly aimed at candidates worldwide.
Requirements tailored for experienced pilots
The desired profile is clear: RAM is not targeting recent graduates, but seasoned pilots. Captains must have at least 1,000 flight hours as captain on the Boeing 737 NG/MAX or Embraer E170/E190, while the minimum requirement for first officers is 300 hours on the aircraft type in question.
Another important condition noted by the specialized press: all candidates must have flown the aircraft type in question within the last twelve months.
Where to Apply
The job posting is not published directly on the Royal Air Maroc website, but is managed by the British recruitment firm Flight Crew International (FCI), which acts as an intermediary on behalf of the airline. The job postings are published on FlightGlobal Jobs, the aviation-focused recruitment platform (flightglobal.com/jobs), where candidates worldwide can view and apply.
What you need before applying
According to the criteria outlined in the job postings:
– A valid type rating on the aircraft in question (Boeing 737 NG/MAX, Boeing 787, or Embraer E170/E190).
– Minimum required flight hours: 1,000 hours as captain, or 300 hours as first officer on the aircraft type in question.
– Recent experience: having flown on this type of aircraft within the last 12 months.
– Generally, for this type of position: valid ATPL license, valid class 1 medical certificate, and a sufficient level of aviation English (often ICAO level 4 minimum).
