Kerosene price surge: Royal Air Maroc suspends several flights to France

Due to soaring kerosene prices, several airlines have announced the suspension of numerous flights.

Royal Air Maroc, also affected by the fuel price increase, has been forced to reduce its flight schedule. The national carrier announced the temporary suspension of its flights between Marrakech and several destinations in France: Marseille, Bordeaux, and Lyon.

Flights scheduled to connect Casablanca to Marseille-Provence Airport on May 23rd have also been suspended.

The national carrier apologized to its customers, stating that this was a circumstance beyond its control.

Marseille remains connected to Morocco by other airlines

Passengers wishing to travel between Marrakech and Marseille, and vice versa, can still fly with other airlines such as Ryanair and Transavia, which operate regular low-cost flights between Morocco and France.
