Online check-in on an Air Arabia Maroc flight: an essential procedure before flying

Check-in is an essential step in confirming your presence on board. During this procedure, you must present your ticket (ticket or electronic ticket). After verification, the ground staff will issue a boarding pass and, if applicable, register your baggage which will travel in the hold of the aircraft.

In addition to receiving your boarding pass, check-in is when your place on board is indicated to you. Depending on the offer you selected when purchasing your ticket, you may be able to choose your seats yourself, unless you have already done so on the day of booking.

Check-in deadline: from what time can you not check-in your flight?

As with boarding, check-in closes at a well-defined time before your departure time. It is imperative to be punctual to travel in peace. After the deadline, you will no longer be able to check-in or drop off your luggage.

The check-in deadline varies depending on the travel destination, however, it is usually between 15 and 90 minutes before the departure time.

The scene is classic. When you arrive at the airport, you locate the counter of the airline company that corresponds to your flight and you resign yourself to waiting your turn at check-in in a stretching queue. However, nearby are several free machines that you would benefit from knowing. These self-service check-in kiosks save you time. The self-service check-in kiosk allows you to obtain your boarding pass and select your seats or confirm the ones you have chosen upon purchase. how it works? Just follow the on-screen instructions. The whole process is displayed as you go. First, you must identify yourself by entering your reservation number, passport number, or the one corresponding to the credit card used during the purchase. Then, as if by magic, your name and that of the person accompanying you are displayed automatically, as well as your route. After making sure that everything is correct, the terminal asks you for the number of bags to check, which you enter. Then, by pressing “finish check-in” and “print”, the terminal gives you your boarding passes as well as the labels that you can affix to the suitcases.

– Less waiting

But what is the use of these self-service kiosks since after receiving your access card, you still have to enter the queue?

Self-service kiosks available at several airports served by Air Arabia Maroc can also send an electronic boarding pass directly to your smartphone.

The airline Air Arabia Maroc announces the launch of an online check-in service available for its entire network

Passengers can now check-in online and print their boarding pass from 30 hours before flight departure, saving time at the airport. To register, The Emirati Company sets up a “free, simple and fast” procedure. Whether the passenger purchased their ticket on the airline’s website or at a travel agency, online check-in is now possible. This service is accessible from the Air Arabia Maroc website, “online check-in” section.

When identifying the passenger, you must indicate the last name and reservation number or the last name and ticket number, then verify and validate the personal information. The passenger can then print their boarding pass or send it by email to a designated address. Once the boarding pass has been printed, the traveler either goes directly to the Air Arabia Maroc boarding area before the deadline if he is traveling only with cabin baggage, or he goes to the check-in counter for drop off your hold baggage.

At airports served by this air carrier, passengers who have checked in online can use “skip-the-line” services to quickly access the departure lounge on presentation of their boarding pass. Passengers can also cancel their check-in on the company’s website if they wish to modify their reservation before the scheduled departure of the flight.

The internet check-in service is authorized for all passengers in possession of electronic tickets, with the exception of passengers with special needs (unaccompanied child, passenger with reduced mobility, passenger traveling with an animal). In addition, passengers connecting to an Air Arabia Maroc flight can obtain their boarding pass for both flights through the United Arab Emirates airline’s website.

The airline therefore offers the possibility of checking in online, from 36 hours to 5 hours before departure.

The company based at Casablanca airport provides its passengers with a “self-service check-in”, the new online check-in system being implemented for all flights. Customers of the Moroccan company can therefore check in online on its site.
